Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a 16 year old American born in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology student. Her father is an native of Argentina with Scottish and English descent is her mother. The mother of her is Spanish-English. Taylor Joy has four siblings, one in each parent's previous marriages. Buenos Aires was her home up until she was six years old, after which the family relocated into Victoria at the time of London. Taylor-Joy says that moving into London was difficult and that she was unable to learn English in order to prevent returning to Argentina. Hill House became her school of choice after Taylor-Joy was forced to change schools. Then she attended Queen's Gate School in London in which she attended ballet classes as well as participated in drama productions. When she was 16 she dropped out of school in order to pursue a full-time career in acting. Taylor-Joy was always aware of her desire to be an actor.
